On behalf of our client in public health, we are currently seeking Social Workers to join a residential service supporting adults with an intellectual disability. These opportunities are available on long-term temporary contracts, with both full-time and part-time options on offer.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to adults with intellectual disabilities within a residential care setting
Contribute to the preparation, review, and implementation of individual Care and Placement Plans, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained
Advocate for and uphold the rights, dignity, and responsibilities of service users
Safeguard and promote the overall wellbeing of individuals in care
Participate in multidisciplinary and team meetings, providing updates and reporting relevant issues to the Service Manager
Prepare clear and timely written and verbal updates on service user progress and care planning
