As IT Admin, you will have responsibility for the delivery of IT operational services according to best practices, including user support services, system delivery, availability, capacity and security management. This encompasses IT and Business systems.
Responsibilities
• Supervise the overall technical support and training of staff.
• Supervise all IT security aspects of the business.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate procedures and policies.
• Balance technological and capacity resources to company and employee’s needs.
• Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory and security standards.
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with IT Manager.
• Providing direction for team members.
• Mentoring and Training team members and new staff members.
• Adhere to strict IT policies and standards.
• Delivery of ad hoc unplanned changes.
Experience and skills
• 2-3 years experience in IT with a strong background in day-to-day IT operational management - covering Infrastructure, Systems, Networks, Active Directory, Cloud Services, Data and IT operations.
• Operational experience in Key Infrastructure Technologies such as Firewalls, Switches, Storage, Virtual software and Servers (Windows).
• Experience/Knowledge in IT security.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
• Networking.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
Education
• Diploma/ degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
