We are looking for a candidate with strong all-round experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment or a self starter who has experience with agri or forestry machinery. Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role.

  1. Managing parts including a high volume of varied components coming in and going out.
  2. Maintaining strong knowledge of parts; ideally suited to someone from the motor trade, manufacturing, or experience with Agri or forestry .
  3. Stock Management: carrying out stock counts and taking full ownership of factory stock.
  4. Training and supervising of our junior members of the stores team.
  5. Raising purchase orders for consumables and other stock as needed.
  6. Building good relationships with suppliers and chasing all open orders to ensure they are landed on time.
  7. Processing warranty claims.
  8. Liaising with customers to understand technical requirements for parts and preparing dispatch documentation.
  9. Organising stock efficiently, including the use of software systems to allocate and forecast future stock requirements.
  10. Proactively organising the stores to maximise efficiency for assembly bay picking and customer dispatch.
  11. Working in a process-driven manner, maintaining existing processes and continually seeking improvements.
