On behalf of our clients in Public Health, we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clerical Officer (Grade IV) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, ideally with a background in pharmacy operations, to contribute to the delivery of high-quality public health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Process medication claims accurately using the MPS system, in line with relevant guidelines and deadlines
- Carry out high-volume data entry tasks with a strong focus on accuracy
- Maintain and update both electronic and manual records in compliance with data protection requirements
- Provide administrative support to the wider team, including scheduling, filing, and document management
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and telephone queries
- Assist in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and general documentation
- Liaise with internal departments, pharmacies, and external stakeholders
- Support overall team operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Experience using the MPS system and processing medication claims in a pharmacy environment
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
