We are currently hiring Shift Maintenance Technicians to support a very high-profile medical device client in Co. Westmeath

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance and fault finding of production equipment in a manufacturing environment

·         Testing and qualification of the production equipment which are PLC and PC controlled.

·         Interact and respond to production team lead directions

·         Interact the manufacturing team regarding production schedules with regard downtime for PM and equipment access

·         Ability to work to tight timelines and schedules.

·         Pro-active attitude generates ideas and inputs to deliverables to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the project.

·         Acceptance, operational and functional testing / qualification in order to make systems ready production.

 

Authority:

  • You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
  • Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

 

Requirements:

·         Minimum Level 6 in Electrical, Mechanical OR Electrical and Instrumentation or Similar

·         3- 5years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry with an established track record.

·         Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment.

·         Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components.

·         Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills.

·         Demonstrate a high level of technical ability.

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong Teamwork abilities.

·         Willing to work shift cycles
