Job Description

DECOTEK Automotive is based in the Irish midlands employing approximately 300 people in a highly skilled manufacturing environment. We design, develop and manufacture premium exterior trim components for the global automotive industry customers.

This is a full-time role and the working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-16.30. 

As HR Generalist, you will offer full HR operational assistance across the business, providing support on HR policies and legislation, employee relations, recruitment and induction, employee communication and engagement projects and training & development programmes.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Providing advice and support to line managers and employees on the application of key HR processes
  • Assisting with Resourcing & Talent Acquisition planning for all levels across the organisation, including facilitation and preparation of all Contract renewals
  • Coordinating and facilitation of induction programmes
  • Co-ordination of the Company’s Performance programmes and supports the leadership team in the application and delivery of an efficient programme for their teams
  • Assist in preparing monthly management KPI reports, including headcount, absenteeism, Performance Management etc
  • Monitoring and maintaining Business Intelligence reporting system
  • Building strong working relationships and establishing clear communication lines with the leadership team and employees across the organisation
  • Ensuring HR policies are kept up to date in line with legislation and maintaining compliance across the business
  • Attending job and recruitment fairs
  • Building relationships with local colleges and schools to support graduate programmes.
  • Supporting apprentices with training coordination and administration.
  • Management and control of all company social media content. 
  • All other day to day duties associated with a varied and busy HR role

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Confidentiality given the nature of the role & exposure to sensitive information
  • Organised and efficient, dependable and with proven ability to work independently using own initiative
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar HR role
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment would be desirable
  • Third level qualification in Human Resources or relevant demonstratable experience
