Senior Sales Executive

AllPro Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a well-known and established organisation in the Midlands media and broadcasting industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join their commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to play a key role in growing advertising revenue, managing high-value client relationships, and supporting the wider sales team. Working closely with the Sales Director, you will help drive business growth across the Midlands and beyond in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business and consistently achieve agreed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies and key commercial clients.
• Identify opportunities to grow the client base and maximise revenue.
• Support the Sales Director in coaching and mentoring members of the sales team.
• Provide sales territory cover during annual leave and other staff absences.
• Manage collections and credit control in line with company policies.
• Ensure all sales activity is carried out in accordance with relevant industry regulations and company standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to improve client satisfaction.
• Contribute ideas for new commercial initiatives, advertising solutions, and marketing opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven success in media sales, advertising sales, or a similar business development role.
• Experience working within the media, advertising, or broadcasting sector is highly desirable.
• Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially focused with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Full, clean driving licence.
