Positions: Entry Level
Contract: Full Time & Part Time Permanent Positions available (with 6-month probationary period)
Days of Work: Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm (8.45am to 1.30pm on Saturdays) – 36 hour working week if full time with part time equivalent available.
Role: Member Service Officer
Reporting to: Branch Supervisor
Remuneration Package: Annual salary - €27,000 to €30,000 (Based on relevant experience, and qualifications)
Occupational Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution)
23 Days Annual Leave
Summary of Role:
v The successful candidate will be accountable to the Management Team of the Credit Union for carrying out administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the Credit Union.
v The successful candidate will also be required to work in any of our branches in Clara, Moate, Ferbane or Banagher. Therefore, own transport and full, clean driving licence is essential.
Key knowledge, skills and experience required include:
· Leaving Certificate or equivalent is essential
· Relevant experience working in a Credit Union, financial institution or customer service role would be an advantage.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel
· Have an aptitude for numbers, handling & balancing cash
Working toward a qualification (APA Loans) that satisfies Minimum Competency Code (MCC) is required, however, full training and support will be provided to assist in achieving this
