Company Overview
Flagship Sign Design is a leading sign-making and vehicle graphics company based in the Midlands. We design, manufacture and install high-quality signage and graphic solutions for businesses across Ireland.
Our work includes bespoke signage, raised lettering, illuminated signs, vinyl graphics, vehicle graphics and wraps, shop fronts and much more.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for two new members to join our team.
We have opportunities available for both an experienced tradesperson and a trainee with no previous experience required.
Position 1: Experienced Tradesperson / Sign Maker
We are looking for an experienced, practical and skilled tradesperson to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sign making, fabrication, carpentry, electrical work, vehicle graphics or a similar trade. Sign-making experience is an advantage, but we are open to someone with a strong trade background who is keen to learn and develop within the signage industry.
The Role
Every project at Flagship is different, so this is a varied role with plenty of opportunity to use and develop your practical skills.
Your work could include:
- Manufacturing and installing bespoke signage
- Fitting raised letters and signage to shop fronts and commercial premises
- Working with materials including acrylic, aluminium, metal, wood and vinyl
- Applying vinyl graphics and vehicle graphics
- Assisting with vehicle wraps
- Preparing, assembling and finishing signage in our workshop
- On-site installation and maintenance
- Working from drawings and customer specifications
- Ensuring every project is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard
- Working as part of a team while also being confident working independently
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys the variety that comes with working in a busy, creative environment.
Position 2: Trainee Sign Maker
No experience required – full training provided.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career.
You don't need previous experience in sign making. What matters most is that you're reliable, practical, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
You will receive full training across all areas of our business, learning how to manufacture, prepare and install a wide range of signage and graphics.
You could learn skills including:
- Sign manufacturing and fabrication
- Working with acrylic, aluminium, metal, wood and vinyl
- Applying vinyl graphics
- Vehicle graphics and wrapping
- Installing signage on-site
- Fitting raised letters and shop front signage
- Workshop preparation and finishing
- Safe use of tools and equipment
- Working to customer specifications and maintaining high-quality finishes

Owner / designer Stuart O’Regan, who has an Honours Degree in Fine Art & Design, meets with each customer and taking detailed instructions establishes what the customer requires. He interprets this instruction and renders it in a graphic design which is submitted to the client for approval. Only when approved the job is sent for printing or manufacture. Finally the product is delivered and where relevant fitted.
