The Structural Engineer will analyse and design precast and reinforced concrete structures,
prepare clear design calculations and coordinate with project teams to deliver practical, buildable
and code-compliant solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
•Analyse and design precast concrete elements including wall panels, slabs, columns, beams, stairs and balconies.
• Develop structural models and assess load paths, stability, connections and the behaviour of concrete structures.
• Prepare design calculations, design notes, technical documentation and design outputs for review and approval.
• Coordinate with BIM and detailing teams to produce accurate, coordinated and buildable information.
• Work with architects, consulting engineers, contractors and internal production and site teams to resolve design queries.
• Provide technical support during manufacture, transport and erection, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and programme.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
•Level 8 degree or higher in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 3 – 5 years' relevant structural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete analysis and design to the Eurocodes, including the relevant Irish National Annexes.
• Ability to produce clear calculations and communicate design decisions effectively.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving and organisational skills.
