About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Sales Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, be a strong communicator, and demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A proven track record of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely task completion is essential.

This role is key to ensuring smooth customer service operations, effective order management, and efficient communication between customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving customer queries, complaints, and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identifying solutions for customer issues and providing regular updates throughout the resolution process.
  • Coordinating internally with relevant departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Updating and maintaining customer portals as required.
  • Processing customer orders accurately through SAP.
  • Monitoring and checking stock availability to support customer demands.
  • Managing logistics-related issues and escalating concerns to management when necessary.
  • Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Managing customer queries from initial contact through to resolution.
  • Supporting general office administration duties including filing, document control, scanning, and email correspondence.
  • Supporting cost-effective purchasing practices and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs through process improvements and automation.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an Administration, Customer Service, Sales Support, or similar role.
  • Excellent documentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP would be an advantage.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and processes.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
