Job Description

Lyster Lawnmowers DAC is a busy garden machinery and robotic lawnmower specialist distributor serving customers across Ireland. We are known for expert advice, fast parts supply, and excellent after-sales support.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and organised person to join our team in a key role handling customer orders and support.

The Role

This is a varied and important position at the heart of the business. You will be the link between customers, the workshop, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing customer orders (in-store, phone, and online)
* Answering customer queries on parts, machines, and repairs
* Preparing invoices, delivery notes, and shipping labels
* Managing parts orders and stock control
* Booking in repairs and liaising with the workshop technician
* Ordering parts from suppliers and tracking backorders
* Keeping customers updated on order and repair status
* General shop and counter duties

Ideal Candidate

This role suits someone who has worked in:

Motor factors • Hardware store • Agri store • Machinery parts counter • Trade counter

You should have:

* Good computer skills (email, invoicing, order systems)
* Strong organisational ability
* Excellent phone manner and customer service skills
* Ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Interest in machinery, tools, or mechanical products
* Experience in parts or retail is a strong advantage
* Mechanical knowledge is a bonus (training provided)
