Car Sales Executive

Mullingar Autos is seeking an experienced Car Sales Executive to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a proven track record in the motor trade who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.

We’re a family-owned business with over 50 years in the motor industry, representing Volkswagen, Škoda and BYD. Located in Mullingar town, we also operate a busy aftersales facility with a vehicle servicing department, bodyshop and CVRT light testing. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full vehicle sales process, from initial customer enquiry through to vehicle handover, while building lasting customer relationships and contributing to the continued success of our business. Previous car sales experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries across showroom, telephone and online channels.

• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles to meet their needs.

• Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives.

• Negotiate sales professionally and work towards agreed sales targets.

• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on prospective sales opportunities.

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and the showroom remains professional.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in car sales is essential.

• A proven ability to achieve sales targets and convert enquiries into sales.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• A strong customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering high service standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target-driven environment.

• Full, clean driving licence.
