Muiriosa Foundation provide a range of services & support to persons with an Intellectual Disability (and their families) - Residential services, respite, day services, education and multidisciplinary supports—across six midland counties: Kildare, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath and Longford. Our headquarters are located in Moore Abbey, Monsterevin, Co. Kildare.
The Community Employment (CE) programme is a DSP Employment Programme which has been designed to assist people who are unemployed and other disadvantaged people to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities.
During the placement, participants are encouraged to seek permanent or part-time jobs elsewhere based on the experience and new skills they have gained.
