Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Secretary, based in our Mullingar office. The Legal Secretary will support the efficient daily operations of the legal team by managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining legal documentation, and liaising with clients. Responsibilities include document preparation and formatting, case file management, diary and calendar management, filing, and providing administrative support. The candidate will also assist in coordinating communications with clients and other stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including maintaining accurate records and managing schedules and deadlines
  • Proficiency in document drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents
  • Digital dictation/ audio typing
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills to interface with clients and team members
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, practices, and software tools used in a law firm environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage a demanding workload
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role is preferred
  • Relevant qualifications in business administration, legal studies, or related fields are an asset
